First Day of Kindergarten!

Today was a big day--Ethan's first day of kindergarten.  We have been anxiously anticipating this day for a long time.   Jason and I both walked him to the school--we feel fortunate it is only 3 blocks away--and dropped him off with his teacher, Mrs. Peters.  His class is called the "yellow ducks".  I was a bit teary-eyed...he is growing up.

We sent him to the after-school program that he will attend.  When we came to pick him up, he didn't want to leave...a good sign.  He enthusiastically told us that his day was "very good".  Unfortunately, I couldn't get much more out of him than that, but I guess I will have to be satisfied.  We will see how tomorrow goes!
