Happy Easter!

We have had a nice holiday weekend.  They weather has been amazing, and we haven't had to work!  Yesterday, we decided to take a short road trip to Point Reyes.  We enjoyed a picnic on the beach, and a hike along the coast.

This morning, the Easter bunny paid a visit.  And although Ethan admitted that he was pretty sure that the Easter bunny is not "real", he enjoyed his basket anyhow.

I decorated this tree with easter eggs this year--and it started to bloom just in time for the holiday!
Beautiful!

We then enjoyed brunch and an egg hunt with the neighbors.

Finally, Easter dinner with the Greenbergs--and an excuse to use our new dining room table!  We are pretty happy to have some new furniture, and it was nice to try it out!

As Alaina said, "Happy Easter Egg Day!

Opening Day

It is opening weekend for little league.  This year, Ethan has graduated from t-ball and is on the "farm" league, where coaches pitch to them.  He is on the Rex Sox (groan!).
This morning all the teams paraded through town on decorated trucks to the ball field where they had a little opening ceremony.

It was pretty cute.  Today's first game: Red Sox vs. Orioles.  Score: 10 to 10.

Rainy Weekend

Well, we have had a scarily dry February, but with March, the rain has begun again.  It has simply poured since Friday, and shows no sign of stopping anytime soon.

And although it makes for a bit of a dull weekend for the kids, the rain is much needed, and we are happy for it.  Plus, the kids got to don their rain gear and puddle stomp when it lightened up to a drizzle for a bit.    While writing this tonight, I am playing the Eddie Rabbit song "I Love a Rainy Night" on repeat.  What a perfect anthem!  I love it!
