Halloween

Last week was halloween.   We had a nice time celebrating.

Ethan chose to stay in the city after school and hang out with some new high school friends.   He went trick or treating in presidio heights, re-using an old pumpkin costume we had (I told him no trick or treating without a costume) and came home with a bucket load of King-sized bars, which is apparently what is handed out in Presidio Heights.   About 10 of them were Toblerones.   He also saw Draymond Green trick or treating with his kid.   Whoever says that SF is crumbling clearly has not been to Presidio Heights.

Alaiana had a much more low-key evening.   Her friend Hannah came over after school and they carved pumpkins.    After a quick pizza dinner they trick-or-treated in Greenbrae with another friend.

Hannah and Alaina dressed up as "Banana Minions".   Interesting idea, but it made them happy, and was relatively easy for me, having only to present my credit card.   Long gone are the days of homemade costumes.

The girls had a pretty good loot as well and enjoyed trading candies before ending the evening around 8:15 (school the next day!)
