Before we left for Spain, we had a free Sunday afternoon and took a hike to cataract falls with our friend Jen, who moved here from Chicago about 6 months ago. We have had a VERY rainy winter and spring, which made the waterfalls stunning, and finally had a sunny day to get out and enjoy it. The above picture is taken from near where we parked our car--Apline lake. What a beautiful reflection!
The hike is not too long, but steep, and up a fairly long and windy road. Because it was superbowl Sunday, it was not too crowded, which made it pleasant!
