Hamilton Weekend

We had a fantastic weekend!  Last fall, I was able to buy tickets to Hamilton in SF.  Our good friends, sue and ben came up from San Jose to join us.  They spent the night--so the kids got a sleepover out of it too, which was a lot of fun for them.

Last year at this time, Sue and Ben were up with our friends Sam and Mitch and their family, and we sat and glared at the giant concrete hole in the backyard.  Well, not this time!  The kids were able to swim all afternoon long.

We went from front row at Hamilton in Chicago to last row at Hamilton in SF.  So, even though we could not see the faces too well, we did get more of an overall view of the choreography and lighting.    Anyhow, the show was amazing--the actor playing Aaron Burr was particularly great.  Before the show we enjoyed a great dinner at Zuni cafe--a classic San Francisco restaurant.  Jason had them bring me a piece of cake to celebrate my birthday as well.  Cute but embarrassing.

A lot of fun with good friends, and great to catch up!
