Breaking Ground

A little over a week ago we finally started our long-planned kitchen remodel.  Our permit was approved by the county building department about a month ago, and it took us awhile to decided on a contractor.  But they got started in full force last week....very exciting.   Our final (we think) plan is to add-on to the kitchen, laundry area, and master bath.  The first step was jack-hammering apart an old patio and digging foundation....Here's a look at the one-week mark:

We were told the project should take about 3 months....we will see!
